Naturist Beaches on Gran Canaria

Naturism in known all over the world, but where do I go, to find the best naturist beaches on Gran Canaria? In Gran Canaria, in addition to official nudist areas, you can also find great beaches and spots where you can sunbathe undisturbed. We want to highlight the best beaches in the south, which you can practice nudism. Here we go…..!!!

1. Playa del Inglés, San Bartolomé de Tirajana

The most famous nude beach of Gran Canaria is located in Playa del Ingles. The beach runs along the large dune area of Dunas de Maspalomas and, because naturism is also allowed in the dunes, this makes it the largest naturist area in the world with 320 hectares. Therefore, everyone should be able to find a quiet spot somewhere.

2. Maspalomas Naturist Beach

The Maspalomas naturist beach can be reached from the Faro Maspalomas lighthouse side, and is about a 20-minute walk away. The beach is signposted well in advance, indicating that you are approaching a naturist area. It is a walk along the dunes of Maspalomas, but once at the naturist beach, it is also advisable to take a stroll through the water. The beach stretches around the corner from Maspalomas to Playa del Ingles.

3. Playa Montaña Arena

Located close to Pasito Blanco in the south of Gran Canaria you will find Montaña Arena.
This nudist beach is a more secluded one, with no kiosks or life guards, but on a really beautiful location.  It is also famous for it´s beautiful sunsets. If you want to escape the crowd, come to playa Montaña Arena to enjoy your well deserved rest. Accessible via the GC-500.

4. Triana Beach

This beach is also located in the South of Gran Canaria and is on the same road as Montaña Arena, via the GC-500. This rocky beach is a must for people who love a quiet absolutely untouched beach.
Here are no facilities at all. And with low tide you can walk up to Llano de militares. This beach have become popular with peace loving naturists.

Apart from these beaches, there are many beautiful hidden gems to be found in the south and all over the island of Gran Canaria. Getting a hire car is a breeze, and then exploring on your own.... is a real pleasure.
