Tapas

Spain and tapas go hand in hand. But when you come to the south of Gran Canaria, it can sometimes be difficult to find a good tapas bar.

Tapas are often thought of as Papas arrugadas with mojo sauce and calamares (fried squid rings), but of course there are many more types of tapas!!

Each region also has a few typical tapas. These are often eaten as a snack or appetizer. Ibericos J. Cruz is our spot where you can go for tapas.

Ibericos J. Cruz

In the suburb of Playa del Ingles, in Bellavista you will find the cosy tapas restaurant Ibericos J. Cruz. They have a nice terrace (where it can be very crowded especially in the weekends, that reservation is necessary), but you can also sit inside.

Inside you will also find the 5J serrano hams and (many) wine bottles. You will especially enjoy the tapas here with a modern touch. Recommended at Ibericos J. Cruz: 'tabla de jamón y queso' (shelf with Spanish hams and cheese) and the patatas bravas. It is certainly worthwhile to ask the waiters what is on offer outside the menu on that day by the chef.

Nice to know: Ibericos J. Cruz specialises in fine wines.

Opened:

Monday 19 - 00 hours

Tuesday to Saturday 13 - 00 hours
